Bella and Hannah have a few of the same outfits but more often than not they have on different clothes. It doesn't matter what they are wearing because people always ask me if they are twins. Even when Bella was a toddler and Hannah was still a baby people would ask. It used to really confuse me but I'm just used to it now. I would rather them talk about being twins than to count my kids or tell me I have my hands full:) I think these next three pictures summarize so much right now... Hannah watches her big sister... Hannah does exactly what she sees Bella doing... I don't know who started this first! I'm sure the people at Wal-Mart love seeing me coming in!

I didn't get this up on Monday, as I had hoped, but I did weigh and I have lost two pounds!! I mostly stuck with my goals. This weekend I'm pretty sure I went over the calorie limit I had set for myself.I'm excited but honestly I worked hard for it. I jogged several miles this past week and used the elliptical machine at the gym. I haven't ran/jogged in forever and it feels good to be able to do it again. This quote ran through my head many time as I was exercising this week. I think that it really motivated me to keep going and not even think about how my body was feeling. I can't wait to experience running again without all of the excess weight.
I also wanted to share one of my favorite "weight loss blogs" http://thetokenfatgirl.com Lorrie is very inspirational to me and often I feel like I could have written her blog posts myself. My goals for this week
![]() After very little sleep last night, today could have very easily just been one of those days where you can't wait to crawl back into bed that night. I'm so thankful that isn't how today turned out. The girls and I went to church and then came home and had naps. All of us had a nap! That definitely made the day a little better! When we got up we cuddled on the couch and then played outside for a little while. My mom had bought the girls two kits to make balloon animals and Pierre made them all sorts of swords, flowers, hats and animals. I told him that could be his second job, because he was really good at it. We also went to the local elementary school and played on their playground. Mom went with us to the playground so we took turns jogging. I jogged 8 laps today. Woohoo. When we first got there we walked one lap all together and Hannah was crying and falling behind. Bella, who had ran ahead, ran back to where Hannah was and gave her a big hug and then walked with her. Bella also kept saying, "your big sister is waiting on you" when they were going to a different area of the playground. Today was by no means perfect...the girls fought, cried, etc. but we got to spend time together and there were lots of sweet moments today that I am very thankful for. Since this is a place where I document everything I want to remember, I want to document my weight loss. I would like to look back here when I am at my goal weight and see the journey that I have taken so that I won't have to repeat it...ever! In February I joined Weight Watchers and was successful at losing 25 pounds over the course of around 5 months. I feel like I'm in a rut now.So my plan is to use the MyFitnessPal app on my phone and Spark People to lose the remaining 100 pounds I need to lose. For me weight loss isn't just something to make me look better in my clothes. I need to lose this weight to be healthy. I want to be there for my girls and not have weight related health issues in my near future. This is also the last year of my 20's and I would love to look great for my 30th Birthday. :
Every Monday morning I am going to weigh in and keep a tally of pounds lost. I will also share any tips or recipes that have worked for me the past week. I hope that if any family or friends are needing to lose some weight that they will join me. I want to make the second half of 2012 the year to finally get the weight off. Here are my goals for the next week:
![]() My babies and me I hope everyone had a great 4th of July celebrating our Independence Day! Pierre was off so we actually got to spend the whole day together. We started off the day making fireworks in a jar. I thought it was a very cute idea but I think I must have done something wrong because ours were kind of a dud! I even did it twice. Either I was doing something wrong or it's just not a very exciting experiment. The girls really didn't mind though. All other crafts/activities I had planned for the day went out the window. Maybe next year. After nap we put on our red, white, and blue and went to a fireworks show being held by two churches in a nearby town. They had inflatables, face painting, games, food vendors and a huge grassy area where the kids spent most of their time running around barefoot. It was really hot and the lines were extremely long but all in all it was really nice. I think this has been the fastest 6 months of my life. Makayla has brought even more joy to my/our lives than I thought possible. Her big sisters love her so much and always bring her toys and try to entertain her. She loves watching them play and will laugh when they are giggling. She is a very content baby and I love being her mommy! She loves books and paper like her mommy. Notice the missing number? She had torn if off and tried to eat it. She was over picture time!
We met our friends Cederick and Crystal and their kids last night at the Drive-In to watch Brave. I hadn't even heard of the movie until Crystal told us she was going. The girls had a lot of fun the last time we all went so off we went. Crystal brings tables, chairs, games, food, etc to make sure all the kids have fun. There is even a playground the kids can play on before the movie starts. I thought the movie was cute. I liked the new princess, although, it's sometimes a little difficult to watch the entire movie when you have to take potty breaks and make sure no one is wondering off! It was a fun night with fun friends!
