There are many times I regret not posting here and I've realized one of the biggest reasons that I don't is because I feel like I don't have enough time. So, I'm going to try to post a few pictures off of my camera or phone when I do have a little time. Even if it's just a few because ultimately this is something I want my girls to enjoy looking back on.
Makayla and Hannah obviously don't think it's ever too early or that mommy looks too bad to take a picture. I'm sure one of these days that will change.
I try really hard to make things I think the girls will like. I'm always searching Pinterest, cookbooks, websites for recipes. Half of the time the recipe makes at least one of them cry. Pierre can throw rice and whatever in a pot and they fight over it. Go figure. They were all excited daddy cooked on Sunday.
I was excited to spend the time not cooking to get all the laundry done. Laundry is my favorite "chore" to do. I love everything but putting it up. I'm glad that we get to start the week with no laundry to do.
We also spent time this weekend getting our dresses for the girl's great grandmother's 100th birthday party in a few weeks. I took the girls to Knoxville dress shopping Saturday with my mom and we all found one. Yay! They are so excited for the party. Not so much the shopping part.
Bella spent the night with my parents on Friday or I'm sure she would have been in on this box action Saturday morning. As soon as I saw the size of this box I knew the girls would want to play with it. They filled it with about 150 books and just sat in it looking at them for a long time. The Little Duck book Hannah is holding reminds me of my childhood. I always loved those books!
We had a busy weekend but a good one. I hope the girls remember being together even when we're not always doing something they consider fun.
